CA 42: Thank You John Kerry. But...

Yesterday Senator Kerry posted a great call to action diary. As a community member I think John Kerry is a member in good standing. He pays attention and he contributes. I don't think there is any greater American than John Kerry.

I have one very small issue but it's not one to generate anger. It just shows how in a very small way that I think some people are not really aware of what's been happening here lately.

While DKos is full of debating and echoes, this makes me think we have more work to do to become the change we want in others and showing that we can do it.

This inspiration for this diary?

I don’t think this is a time for us to just join a debating society or echo chamber where we talk exclusively to each other

I've got to thank Senator Kerry for taking the fight to the roadblock Republicans and for coming here to recruit us for help.

But some of us are trying to increase our sphere of influence beyond this great site. I think it's important for our top Democrats to understand how we've already grown. We don't believe that DKos is about debate and echo chambers. We believe in taking action and making things happen.

While we will yell loudly about and take up action against Republicans, we also are trying to build a future where people like me have a real chance to be elected to Congress without a monster personal fortune.

As much as we respect and like you, we also want to serve -- and we believe DKos is going to make that happen.
